Get in touch

One person reads everything that arrives here. Say what you need plainly and you will get a straight answer, including when the answer is no.

Something wrong with a listing? Use the corrections form instead. It attaches your message to the venue, which is what lets us act on it.

01

Which form you want

If it is about a listing, use the other one. Anything about a specific restaurant, retailer or farm belongs on the corrections form: a wrong detail, a closure, a venue we are missing, a Wagyu or Kobe claim that looks unsupported, or sourcing details for a business you work at. That form attaches your message to the row, which is what lets anyone act on it. A listing question sent here just has to be moved by hand.

Everything else belongs here. Press enquiries, questions about how a verdict was reached, partnership proposals, and privacy requests.

02

What we can and cannot do

Nothing sent to us is published. Your name, your message and your email do not appear on this site. They go into a queue that a person reads.

Money never buys a place on WagyuSpot, and it never buys a badge. That is the whole point of the directory, so there is no listing package and nothing to sponsor. Some pages carry commercial links and our affiliate disclosure explains exactly which and why. A partnership that survives reading that is still worth proposing.

We cannot change a verdict because someone tells us to. A badge follows published evidence we can fetch and quote, which is set out on how we verify. If you think a specific listing is wrong, the fastest route is a link to the page that shows it, sent through the corrections form.

03

Press

There is a press kit with the figures, how each is counted, and what may be quoted. The counts move as the directory grows, so it is worth taking them from there or from the provenance report rather than from an older article. Tell us your deadline and we will work to it.

04

Privacy

We run no accounts, no sign-in and no stable visitor identifier, so for most people there is nothing stored that could be connected back to them. The exception is a message you sent us, which carries whatever contact details you chose to include. Tell us the address you used and we can find it, and delete it if you ask. The privacy policy sets out the rest.

05

If the form will not send

Email wagyuspot@proton.me and it reaches the same person. The form exists because it routes and files what you send, not because we would rather you did not write directly.
