Why it's listed

Yakiniku Great is the first US outpost of a Japan-based yakiniku specialist, with a 14-seat counter and four tables on West 17th Street. The concept is Wagyu and nothing else: an omakase of rare lean cuts, either "The 6" at $130 or the signature eight-cut "The 8" (Kimura-Yaki) at $175, with a Uni-Chateaubriand supplement limited to ten servings daily. The kitchen states it serves only A5 Kuroge Wagyu with a BMS of 10–11, air-freighted from Japan. It cannot accommodate vegetarian diets or most allergies.
