Menu claim only

This listing's current published materials advertise Wagyu, but the offering does not meet our full verification standard for provenance. It carries no authenticity badge; undisclosed details remain explicitly unverified.

Why it's listed

A Bourbon Group cocktail bar and kitchen on Edison Street downtown, cocktail led but with a full kitchen behind it. Wagyu appears four times across its own food menus: an 18 dollar Wagyu Beef Carpaccio and an 18 dollar Wagyu Burger, both repeated at brunch, a 42 dollar Wagyu Steak among the mains, and wagyu beef in the 28 dollar Pappardelle Bolognese. No origin, grade or producer is given for any of them. The carpaccio and the steak are what lift this past a burger only listing. Its full drinks list contains no Wagyu at all.

Authenticity flags

  • None of the four Wagyu dishes says where the beef comes from, what grade it is, or who raises it. A local dining guide credits the beef to Snake River Farms, but that name appears nowhere on the restaurant's own menus. Ask before ordering if sourcing matters to you.

Common questions

Does Franklin Ave Cocktails & Kitchen serve real Wagyu?
Its own current menu advertises Wagyu, and that claim was read directly on August 16, 2026. What the menu does not do is say which Wagyu: no prefecture, grade, breed status or producer is published, so the sourcing cannot be checked from outside. That is a gap in what is written down rather than a suggestion that anything is wrong with the beef, and plenty of kitchens buy carefully without printing the details.
Why is Franklin Ave Cocktails & Kitchen listed without a Wagyu badge?
Because a badge here means the sourcing was checked, not that the food is good. This listing is published because the venue genuinely advertises Wagyu on its own current material, and it carries no badge because that material does not say which Wagyu. If the venue publishes the prefecture, grade, breed status or producer, the listing can move.
