Puffer Malarkey's waterfront Asian-fusion steakhouse at 969 Pacific Hwy, self-described as a Wagyu steakhouse. Its dinner menu sells two whole-muscle Japanese A5 Miyazaki cuts by weight: Miyazaki Strip Loin ($132 for 4oz, $264 for 8oz) and Miyazaki Tenderloin ($145 for 4oz, $290 for 8oz), each served with banchan. A 16oz New York Strip of Australian Wagyu ($160) and an Australian Wagyu beef carpaccio also appear, plus a Wagyu corned beef fried rice. Dinner nightly.
