Wagyu restaurants in Columbus, Ohio

Columbus has a short Wagyu list and an unusually solid one. Ten of its restaurants publish here, three clear the full sourcing standard, and seven sit in the menu-only tail.

Two of the three are steakhouses. One holds a licence on the official Kobe Beef Association registry and had Kobe on the menu we verified, so it carries the Certified Kobe badge, and it names an Australian producer and an American brand separately alongside it. Both halves of that badge are required here: a registry licence is standing permission to buy genuine Kobe, and plenty of licensed rooms across the country were serving other prefectures when we last read them, so the licence on its own is never enough. The other steakhouse documents Japanese A5 by brand rather than by prefecture, which is a step finer than most steakhouse menus go.

The third is a Japanese omakase counter. That combination, two documented steakhouses and one counter, covers the two ways this beef is usually served in an American city, and having all of it inside a ten-venue list means there is very little here to sift through.
